We are Matt and Jake
Kangaroo Country founders, best mates, parents, play connoisseurs
and Dad joke enthusiasts.
Like many parents we spend a lot of our time trying to find ways to
encourage our young kids into imaginative, screen-free play.
After spending long hours on the floor starting puzzles with our kids
only to finish them by ourselves because the kids had quickly lost
interest (or the pieces had started falling apart) we commenced on our
quest to create something new.
We wanted to create puzzles that appealed to kids and parents alike.
Puzzles that told a story that kids wanted to return to over and over,
just like their favorite book.
And so Kangaroo Country was born.
Combining our love of puzzles, imagination, storytelling and products
that can withstand toddlers.
We hope you love them as much as we have loved creating them.
While we feel like we’ve nailed it with Kangaroo Country we are
still working on our Dad jokes.
